Product Page Optimization: Turn Browsers Into Buyers

Your product page is your salesperson. It works while you sleep, and it either convinces visitors to buy or sends them to a competitor. Most Moroccan stores under-invest here. Optimizing the product page is the single highest-return improvement most stores can make.

The Product Page Checklist

1. Strong product photos

Multiple angles, zoom, lifestyle shots, and white-background main images. Buyers cannot touch the product — photos must do the work. Add short videos for best sellers.

2. Clear price and fees

Show the price, and make COD fees and delivery costs visible before checkout. Hidden fees at delivery are the number one cause of refused orders.

3. The buy button

One obvious, high-contrast button above the fold. Repeating it at the bottom of the page helps long-scrollers. "Order now" with WhatsApp confirmation resonates in Morocco.

4. Benefits before features

Lead with what the customer gains, not what the product contains. Short bullet list, then details. Keep paragraphs short.

5. Trust elements

Delivery time, return policy, payment options, phone and WhatsApp, and customer reviews close to the button.

6. Urgency and availability

Real stock levels ("Only 4 left"), recent order notifications, and honest delivery dates create gentle urgency.

Mobile First

Most Moroccan purchases happen on phones. Test your product page on a real phone: can you see the price without scrolling? Does the button stay reachable? Is the page fast?

Measure and Improve

Track product page views, add-to-cart rate, and purchases per product. A page that many visit but few buy from needs work. Test changes one at a time and keep what improves the numbers.
